From Concept to Handover
Under the employment of Cain Consulting Engineers we assisted with the entirety of the M&E design and construction of new laboratory developments on L7 of Her Majesty's Commonwealth Building (HMCWB). From the initial site survey we assisted with drawing up the existing services locations; ductwork, piped services including those for medical gasses. At critical intervals throughout the project a thorough survey and record of M&E installation was undertaken and an engineers comment schedule produced.
Each stage of the design was highly intensive, with several stakeholders requring specific outcomes from the laboratory. The interim snagging report was compiled of over 290 separate issues that we scrutinsed in order to ensure contractor installation was acceptable.
